• My family has a special designated bin in which we everyday recycle paper, plastic, and more.  In the morning after we read the newspaper I collect the paper and put it into the recycling bin.  Also at night I collect any plastic bottles from finished drinks and go put it into our recycling bin.  Knowing that this way our planet will be less polluted and more clean.

  • I've been recycling paper, cans, and bottles.  I've also been telling my mom to ride her bike with me to places that aren't far away.  I've also have been drawing pictures on one piece of paper.  I use the front and back of the piece of paper.  I tell my mom that do not get plastic plates because they are harder to restore in the prosses of recycling so now me and my mom only get paper plates to save the envirnment.  It's how I make a difference in the world.

  • I have planted trees in the summer in my yard so we can keep oxygen in the air so everyone breathes little better.  I have walked with friends and picked up cans and aluminum scraps so it can be melted and recycled and used for other things and we recycle paper at or school its not just one class, its all the class rooms every week we collect the paper so it can be recycled may be one day we all can breathe clean are if we are stick together and recycle.

  • Our city does not let no one burn leaves.  We never burn any leaves.  We just chop them up with the mower.  We never burn rubber tires either because they really make a mess and boy do they ever stink bad and turn the air so black with thick heavy smoke.  Sometimes other people near our home burn tires and it is a real mess.  Then the fire trucks have to come and put out the fire but it smells really bad for days.  This is our place to live and it's important to keep it clean!

  • Yesterday, I picked up trash with my friends Morgan and Sabrina.  We went to a small, dead forest and picked it up.  There was alot of trash though.  I saw some daffodils that someone planted.  They really stood out in the brown.  We were really happy!

  • What I have been doing to keep our air clean is
    1.buying a conpost
2.not runing the water whille brushing my teeth
3.not keep the lights on whille im not in the room
    4.planted more plants and flowers
    5. riding my bike and walking not taking the car.
The reason why im doing all this suff and caring so much because most people dont care and dont know what is going to happen is 1000 years.

  • What I have been doing was I unplug everything I do not need on.  I watch less tv and I talk with my parents and read a book.  I also talk to my friends and put on Jonas Brother's poster.  Sometimes I like to dance and sing.  I also like to cook lots of food for my mom and my step dad because they do cool stuff.  I spend lots of my time outside to plant a garden and a new tree.  Sometimes I see people littering and i get really mad and I open my gate and pick everything up.  Thats what i do to clean the air.

  • If I use less paper then people don't have to cut down a lot of trees.  If people cut down trees than we will lose some air, and if we lose air than we won't be able to breathe.  One time my friend wrote his heading wrong on a sheet of paper and messed up, so he was going to crumple it, but I told him to use white out, and so he didn't waste any paper.  The last thing I would do to help the Earth is to convince parents to car pool.

  • One day my family and I went to the park by our house and helped clean up the park and plant flowers and trees.  The program was called Clean Earth Day.  was so much fun!!!  My brother and I had a small race who can pick up the must garbage the quickest.  I won by two pieces.  Who knew it could be so fun to help clean up?

  • I recycle can, boxes, paper, and plastic objects.  My family uses hand-me-down clothes.  We walk to school in the winter and ride our bikes during other seasons.  Instead of throwing away food I put it in the garbage disposal.  I am going to start a compost pile, meaning that I will be making fertilizer out of organic material.
